Positive: Lovely atmosphere, very thoughtful hotel in a terrific location. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and it was great to have a lounge area and access to a kitchen, all of which was QUIET. No loud, pulsing music, nothing pretentious or overwrought. Natural materials used throughout. Beautiful roof garden. Over all, the hotel pays attention to small details, and that care adds up. Very happy to have discovered this hotel.
Negative: Our room was quite small, and Zurich prices are just crazy high. Otherwise no complaints!

Positive: The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was spot on - clean, spacious and perfect for what we needed. We loved the location - close to the lake, the centre, the tramline, and with a couple of supermarkets close by. The roof terrace was a great bonus. Breakfasts were delicious and, particulary for the 2 of us who are vegan, offered plenty of choice. We also made use of the self catering facilities, which were great. We loved the extra touches too - free water and apples, welcome icecreams, and free coffee throughout the day. If we do come back to Zurich, without a doubt we will stay at Alma.

Positive: A great variety for breakfast including scrambled eggs or cooked eggs. The massage was superb after a fortnight of touring with lots of walking. Beautifully furnished rooms and lovely roof top area.
